We're bringing what we do best @Lenswood to @Birdwood. Our orchard has beautiful flat land, the cherries are shaded and surrounded by majestic gums.

Looking for a unique day out? Come and Pick Your Own apples in the Adelaide Hills and experience being immersed in agriculture - our way.

It's not just about the apples @Lenswood, we’re all about experience through sharing our farm with you. Think fair or festival vibes whilst experiencing the behind-the-scenes workings of a commercial apple orchard. Learn how apples are grown and about our unique story. You've not tasted anything like an apple straight off the tree.

The kids will have a ball - our orchard has been created with families in mind. You can sit back with a coffee and some locally produced baked goods whilst they are playing in the sandpit, on our vintage tractors or having a try at Apple Row Mini Golf.

We want the little ones to learn where their food comes from too, so we have created our Kids Pomology Trail where they are sent all around our property via clues learning how commercial apples are grown.

Experience the opportunity to pick your own apples from our commercial apple orchard. We have 8 different varieties, offering all the old favourites. We’re open most weekdays, weekends and public holidays throughout apple season - better still, you don't need a booking!
School Excursions & Group Tours
Looking for something educational, informative, entertaining and interactive to do with your students or group? We offer orchard tours throughout apple season. You’ll learn first hand from owners Emily & Chris what life is like on the farm, apple production, how machinery is used and what goes into growing commercial grade apples. We tailor our tours to suit the needs or ages of the group.

We’re all about our community and take any chance to give local businesses a platform to sell their products.

Hungry? Our Farm Cafe has locally produced Apple Pies and all your favourite savoury items. They’re literally made in Lenswood, down the road at our General Store. Need coffee? We’ve got that too.
You’ll also find locally produced relishes, Jams, dried fruit and sauces.. and even the perfect gift to remember your time at the orchard.
